Hiya, Have you not watched over and over Oliver Twist or A Christmas Carol at Christmas on TV?
I really love reading his stories and the way they are written. As you know, many of his stories show the horrible conditions in which children lived in the 19th century in England, just when there was the Industrial Revolution and children had to work hours and hours and got paid very little for it.
We have had to wait quite long until there were Human Rights and the prohibition of children under 18 to work.
